Grid Effect

1) Make a new image of 3x3 pixels with it set on Transparent.
2) Zoom in all the way, and use the pencil tool on size 1.
3) Fill in the two pixels on the left and the Bottom. so it looks like whats done below.

4) Now go Edit » Define Pattern and call it Grid.
