Dot Patterns

1) Open Photoshop, Create a new 3x3 document with a transparent background.
2) Zoom in all the way (1600%)
3) Use the pencil tool (black) (right click brush tool if it isn't there).
4) Make a 1 pixel dot in the middle.
5) Go to Edit>>Define Patter>>Dots Pattern
6) Now open up the document you want to apply the dots to. Then go to edit, fill.
7) Select custom pattern, choose the dots pattern and press ok.
Now you are finished!
