Intro:Ahh, the sweet, sweet sound of those wheels hitting the gravel. The beautiful noises your character makes when you fall off of a 70 foot tall electric wire. The smell of burning rubber against pavement as your bike lands a 360 Backflip to Tailwhip?!? What the hell? Oooh yeah, I like this. From Activision comes a brand new, Melon grabbin', Kickflippin' Tony Hawk game: Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.

Graphics: One thing that everyone SHOULD notice is that well, there are no loading screens. (If you haven't read the back of the box for goodness sake). This brings a VERY new type of gameplay to the Tony Hawk series. Now, if you're a real Tony Hawk fan, you'll notice that the levels are really, really graphic oriented. What I mean to say is that, when you turn into beverly hills, you can see the actually difference! I mean, when the moon is out, the the ground has that beautiful sheen and there are less people on the street.

Sound: The sound for this game I think is the best feature. Not only did they add new sounds for the boards, and street and people, and bikes, but they have the best soundtrack. Tony Hawk's Demolition Radio features over 40 songs, and some 14 covers. All top-rank artists like Green Day, Venom, Black Flag, Bad Religion and others. All to compile into what I believe to be the best Tony Hawk music list EVER.

GamePlay: The trick to this game is to have fast hands. Fast hands equals good combos which, in turn equal good points to add to your records. Now that they have taken off the loading screens, there is better gameplay, and there is no need to get frusterated at the damn things. I love that they did this because it brings a whole new aspect to this world that you are set in.

Overall: Even though I have loved Tony Hawk games since the first one came out (1999), This has to be my favorite for its creativity, sound, and most of all gameplay. The gameplay has definitely improved. I say go buy this game take some stress off. There's no harm in having fun.
