Xenosaga - Introduction

Thousands of years into the future, man kind fled from Earth to exist only in space. In the past, arcioligists discovered an old artifact sleeping a lake in Africa, and in the future, there is a copy in a ship called the Woglinde. You are Shion Uzuki, you are running test simulations for the android KOS-MOS to work out bugs and gain information on an alien race that have threatened man kind for hundreds of years. After the test simulation, the ship is attacked by those aliens, called the Gnoisis, most of the crew is dead, but Alan, Shion and KOS-MOS manage to escape and begin their journey.
