Fayt Leingod and his family are visiting Hyda, which is a resort planet in the Pangalatic Federation. Fayt was rather annoyed about the trip, but his childhood friend Sophia convinces him into going. Fayt ends up enjoying himself and finds himself visiting the "battle simulator" most of the time. Fayt strolls around the hotel with Sophia and they stop by and play "battle simulator", while his parents relax on the beach. Suddenly a unknown force attacks Hyda, Fayt and Sophia make their way to a emergency shelter. They meet up with Fayt's parents along the way, but the emergency route is also falls under attack. Fayt and Sophia manage to reach the emergency shelter, but in the process he is seperated from his parents.
