Star Ocean 2 - Talent

Each character begins the game with certain talents. These talents play a vital role in item creation using specialties. Obviously each specialty uses a certain talent(s) to help determine the outcome of the item, and the success rate. During the game it is possible to unlock different talents via specialties. All you have to do is perform a specialty and there is a small chance that a related talent will be unlocked. There are certain facots that boost the probability of unlocking it, but if you unlock a talent with on additional help then that character receives 100 Skill Points. Of course each character has his or her own set of talents they can and can't unlock and probabilities that they can unlock them.
