When Trace happens. Powers increase while the character is under trance. Additionally the characters deals a great amount of physical attack power, a new set of battle commands may also become availible. Skills or special abilities that the character uses regularly gain a greater chance to strike effectively.

The time that the character stays in Trance is measured by the Trance Gauge. When the character under Trance performs actions, the gauge decreases. When the gauge reaches zero, Trance ends. Trance also ends when the battle ends.
