Rinoa is a free spirited, energetic person who loves her dog--Angelo. Her limit is Angelo (her dog), who can learn specials by reading the pet pals magazine. Rinoa is part of a group called the Timber Owls, they consist of these 3: Rinoa, Watts and Zone. Their mission is to liberate the town of Timber which is currently under the reign of the Galbadian empire. They fight for equality. However the main problem is the lack of man power, so they seek out SeeD to help them along with their mission.
