To acquire Odin as one of your Guardian Forces, you must go to Centra Ruins in Disc Two (Once the Balamb Garden is mobile). However this is no easy task as you must fight various fiends and you have a time limit. To achieve Odins great power you must climb the tower and defeat him in 20 minutes or less. But Odin is no ordinary GF. Unlike all the other GFs you've acquired throughout your journey, you cannot summon Odin. Odin appears in battles but will never appear in a boss fight.

To get through the tower successfully I suggest you don't fight any battles that you don't have to. For example random encounters will take long during these precious 20 minutes. Tonberrys and Forbiddens have a lot of HP. So come back and fight them later. To not encounter any of these battles or half of them have Diablos learn Enc-Half or Enc-None.

The first part of the tower is easy. Just follow the staircases until you reach an altar which is actually an elevator. When the elevator stops, 2 ladders will appear, one on the left and one on the right. Take the left ladder, flip the switch in the room, and then climb back down the ladder. You'll notice that the altar in front of the elevator is now lit. Upon examining it, a staircase will appear on the right. Follow the stairs to the top. There's a large demon statue with one red eye on the next level. Climb the short ladder on the left, take the eye from the statue, and they climb up the stairs on the right side of the area to the top of the tower. Go to the left and climb the side of the dome to find a second demon statue with a red eye. Place the eye in the statue and a code will appear. You should write it down. Now take both eyes out of the demon statue and go downstairs to the first demon statue. After placing both eyes in the demons statue, a place to input the code will appear. Enter the code using the directional button to open a door below. Behind this door awaits Odin.

This would be a simple battle without a time limit. Odin will never attack your party, so focus on inflicting as much damage as possible. Odins Hp varies from 1300,31,000. Odin has a awesome spell, Triple, which you can draw and then use to cast three spells at once! Use this to your advantage. Caste haste on your party members if you're really running short on time. Only use Guardian Forces if you have to because they take time to load.
